Turn on the Southern charm with this palmetto and crescent moon design perfect for your favorite South Carolinan. The official nickname for South Carolina is The Palmetto State, referring to the state tree (the sabal palmetto). Commonly called the cabbage palmetto, the sabal palmetto (Inodes Palmetto) was added to the "National" flag of South Carolina after it seceded from the Union in 1861. A palmetto remains on the present-day state flag, a sabal palm appears on the South Carolina state seal, and is even mentioned in the salute to the flag of South Carolina.
This unique and fully functional weather and wind vane captures the spirit of the palmetto tree and it's often recognized companion image, the crescent moon. A wonderful addition to any home at or near the beach, especially those with South Carolina heritage or collegiate interests!

EACH EZ VANE STEEL WEATHERVANE INCLUDES YOUR CHOICE OF MOUNT
4 Sided Mount: The four sided mount is made for mounting to a 4 or 8 sided cupola or gazebo. This mount comes with a 12" rod(not pictured). Each leg of the mount measures approximately 5 3/4" long from the center of the upright tube.
Deck Mount: Mount to a flat board i.e. deck board. It is approx. 3" x 3" and includes the 12" rod(not pictured).
Garden Mount: 60" mount includes stabilizing ground stake. The garden mount ships in two pieces and must be screwed together upon arrival.
Post Mount: The post mount or (side mount) will mount to the side of a fence of vertical board. It is approx. 3"x 3" and includes the 12" rod(not pictured).
Roof Mount: Our roof mount is adjustable, but is made to a 4/12 roof pitch. It includes a 12" rod.
Cupola Mount: Our cupola mount is installed inside the cupola and protrudes from the standard 3/4in. hole in the center of the cupola roof. The EZ Vane cupola mount includes a standard rod with a 3/4" x 2" female adapter sleeve. The cupola mount adapter is intended to be threaded into a 3/4" upright bolt that you provide inside the cupola. **($17.50 additional per vane)
